Nero Marquina and Carrara are natural stones, a living material that varies from boulder to boulder. Variations in natural stone are to be expected.

You should be aware that irregular markings, lines, veins and crystallization are not cracks or imperfections, but rather a natural part of the stone’s beauty.

Marble is a porous material that is sensitive to spills and you should therefore always immediately wipe up any waste.

Marble countertops are sensitive to acids. Liquids like wine, vinegar, lemon is harmful.

Never use acidic cleaners. Instead, use cleaning products for stone. For daily cleaning, wipe the countertop with a damp cloth using a mild detergent and then wipe it dry with another cloth. 

Compact laminate is strong, self-supporting, water resistant and highly durable, requiring very low maintenance.

You take care of your compact laminate countertop by wiping it with water and a mild detergent. Never use abrasive sponges or detergents.
